Hi Adelaide! Tell us about yourself and what is you do

I am the Assistant Manager at the Assembly Label Manly store, a Northern beaches girl who lives in Fairlight. I have previously studied Interior Design and am currently finishing off a Commerce and Marketing degree. When I’m not working or studying, I like to spend my time exercising, catching up with friends for coffee at Aggy's Corner, and I love spending my afternoons at the beach with my partner Sam, our families, and our gorgeous little nieces and nephews.

What do you love most about Assembly Label?

What I love most is the simplicity of the brand and our stores. The every day staple wardrobe items that are designed to last, the staff and culture and amazing the support network and sense of community you feel when working here – what’s not to love!

Tell us about your wardrobe staples, what are your everyday essentials?

My go-to everyday essentials include a high waisted denim with a nice shirt or tee. I love my Danica shorts and High Waist Flares in Stone Blue with our Short Sleeve Linen Shirt. When I’m venturing out an about after work I love my Tala Pants in Vintage White paired with my Xander Long Sleeve in Dover.

Outside of work, how do you like to spend your time?

Long walks down to Shelly beach and enjoying the coastal breeze, a cheeky wine or cocktails at Hugo’s in Manly, and studying online in the comfort of my favourite café Aggys.

What do you love about Manly?

I love the strong sense of community in Manly, everyone is so friendly and happy to have a chat and help each other out. I love how active everyone is here as well, it inspires me to stay fit and healthy. I love the unique coffee and lunch spots, the coastal walks and delicious restaurants and bars.

Can you share with us your go-to coffee spot?

Aggy’s Corner is my go-to coffee spot. It is run by my boyfriend’s brother and his brother in law (Sam and Thom). Having helped in the process of building the cafe and having managed the cafe I have a strong involvement and connection to the cafe. It is a must when visiting manly as the coffee is amazing, the vibe is great, and the space is so aesthetically pleasing and inspiring.

Where are your favourite places to shop?

I love the local designers market that’s on at the Manly Corso every Sunday, it’s inspiring to walk through and see all the unique local businesses. I also love The Manly collective for organic skincare, clothing and homewares.

Where do you go when you want to relax?

I take myself either to Fairlight or Shelly beach for a swim or to Power Living a yin yoga class to de-stress from my week!

Favourite beach to visit?

My go-to is Fairlight beach for an early morning or afternoon swim. My favourite spot looks over Manly and is surrounded by sand, a large green grass area, and a beautiful little rock pool that you can dip straight into when the tide is high.

Any hidden gems, we should know about?

Collins flat is an amazing little beach tucked away just down from Manly’s iconic North Head Lookout. The lookout is also a must-see at the National park with cliffs and an incredible view of the Sydney harbour. If you want delicious cocktails and platters, the Cumberland is an underground cocktail bar located behind a hidden fridge door of a Bodega style deli.
